The Mayor's Ball had it all last night. Sights. Sound. Great food.
A cool enough evening, it warranted sitting next to the crackling fire pits on the ramp outside the hangar. Inside, a swing band playing the sweet sounds of the Big Band era and lots of great food from Blue Water Bay.
Most folks dressed from the 1920s, 30s or 40s for period effect and the gentlemen, my, wore tuxes to the nines. There was a very festive mood inside the County Line Aviation hangar.
We're looking forward to reporting how much money was generated from the event to help complete the Trailhead for the rails to trails project.
