Richard Bombach has been hired as the new director at Camp Immokalee. Richard came to Camp Immokalee from Texas. He moved here with his wife and two children. Camp Immokalee was started in 1909. He said he expects to have 185 residential campers this year. He's looking forward to "plugging into the community" and finding where the Camp fits in. He said his family plans to be here for a long time.
Richard is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with less than two years to live when he found out he had cancer. He said faith is certainly part of who he is. While we miss our Allison, we welcome Richard with open arms.
