End-of-Year Update

PRESIDENT TINA RECOGNIZED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CLUB YEAR

September marked the end-of-the-year banquet which provides a time for club members to gather and reflect on the past year's accomplishments.

President Tina Santillo is both the outgoing and incoming president of the club. She was recognized for elegantly steering the ship this past year. Tina Bullock stepped in and presented her recognition awards: a plaque, a plant and a poem. (Wherever there is a Tina Bullock, there is a poem.)

"Tonight as we celebrate the Lake Region Kiwanis, a great community group,

This is made possible by our great leader, the head of this unique troop!

Keeping all of the balls in the air and balancing everything from A-Z,

Leading our meeting, organizing, collecting, delivering and attending busy is she!

It can't be done without her guidance and calm assurance to each and all,

Proud to have her serve as president she's always on call!

So a plant in a green pot for her as she has made our club thrive,

And a president's plaque as a reminder in spite of us she has survived.

So now to Tina Santillo let's give her a big cheer,

For another great and successful Lake Region Kiwanis club year."

On behalf of all of our club members, thank you, President Tina for your outstanding leadership. We appreciate you.

LT. GOVERNOR PATRICIA NAMED KIWANIAN OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Lt. Governor Patricia for being named 2023 Kiwanian of the Year. Serving multiple roles in the Kiwanis organization is demanding. She organizes the Klaus mission. She is our treasurer and she is our Lt. Governor.

She is also the 2023 September Kiwanian of the Year for her work getting our new budget together.

Thanks, Patricia, for being who you are so we can do what we do for our community.
