Enthusiastic, new energy is being infused into the Clay County Public Library system as a result of newly hired employees (specifically in Keystone Heights).
Many people may not know that library members can check out Chrome books and hot spots at their local library. Even when the library is closed, people park in the parking lot and use the WiFi. (Too, all of the parks inside the City of Keystone Heights are wired for WiFi.)
One of the needs that has been identified is creating a space for young adults which may mean moving sections of the library around.
Plans for weekly story times are in place beginning September 17, 2022 and running to mid-November.
KIWANIAN OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to Buff! President Patricia announced he is Kiwanian of the Month as he answers the calls from Patricia and meets club needs at Montgomery Camp.
RESIGNATION
Sadly, the club says goodbye to Keith Hatch as a member. Keith has many irons in the proverbial fire and find he needs to spend his time on other projects (like starting ANOTHER business). Many thanks to your numerous contributions during your time in the club. Buff and Todd will co-chair the golf tournament with help from Keith.
