There were two winners at two individual holes who made a shot Closest to the Pin and the first, is our very own Mary Leigh C.(and honestly, I don't know which hole it was), but it's all good. She's a winner. The second golfer Closest to the Pin was Wyatt (The Kid). All three received a free round of golf at the Keystone Golf and Country Club.
Thanks to the entire club, who worked tirelessly, to make it a such a successful event. A sincere thanks to all of the corporate sponsors and golfers. A very special shout out to the event "Influencers" Todd and Buff. (If you know, you know.)

KIWANIAN OF THE MONTH
The November Kiwanian of the Month is one of our newer members, Miss Jade. President Tina S. announced that she worked diligently on the Community Fall Festival and even though it was canceled, she was impressed with her energy and enthusiasm for the event. And, she shopped for candy for the club's Boo-on-the-Bouevard table and manned the table in full Halloween attire. Congratulations, Jade.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Sarah Gassett, of Operation Christmas Child, shared since 2009, Samaritan's Purse has distributed over 30.9 million shoe boxes to 170 countries meaning, Operation Christmas Child has impacted 30.9 million lives. It is a campaign called the "Greates Journey" as it seeks to bring the story of Jesus to children's lives. The most efficient way to put a box together is to buy and ship it online. Build-a-Box is $25 and a buyer can purchase items to place in the box on the website (myocc.org). Sarah said one of the most popular items is a deflated soccer ball and an air pump. Boxes were available at the meeting.
