We're going to find out, that's for sure. In spite of the fact that the City has scheduled a Volunteer Day on Wednesday, April 13th, to clean up the Beach, members felt the club should keep our Clean-Up date on Saturday, April 16th at 5:30 PM. There may be some last minute clean-up to perform.

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS RV RESORT VENDOR SHOW
The club tabled at the vendor show on Saturday. Membership Chair Chrissy, President Patricia and Board Member Tina B. set up, manned and broke down the table. Tina reported she seeded a donation jar with a one dollar bill to "prime the pump." A gentleman walked up and pulled out a $50-dollar bill and dropped it in the jar - thanking us for supporting children.
OCD PARADE
Keith led a discussion on the importance of shutting down South Lawrence Boulevard at 10:15 AM in order to ensure there are no parked cars left parked on the parade route. A reminder that that the Parade theme is "One Nation," for parade builders. Chrissy volunteered to lead the effort for our club. Tina B. reported that the club will sell arm bands during the parade for the fireworks at Keystone Beach.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
The Community Partnership School at Keystone Heights Junior-Senior High School is asking for donations of drinks, small giveaway items and gift cards to build baskets for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. The theme for the week is, "Support Keystone," so donations are encouraged from local businesses. All donations need to be delivered to the high school by Friday, April 29th.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Tina B. reports she has 6-7 scholarship applications as of Friday. She will check, again, tomorrow (Monday) to collect any last-minute-Louis'a. The plan is to review the applications at the evening meeting on Thursday, April 21st.

Board agreed to donate $50 to the Melrose Volunteer Firefighters [Motion: Keith, Second: Fred] Passed
Board agreed to pursue 501-3C Non-Profit status. VeRonica Owens agreed to the take care of the legal aspect of the application pro bono. The club will continue to explore the actual cost of making application for 501-3C status. [Motion: Keith, Second: Fred] Passed
Board decided to split the earmarked money that the Clay Electric grant is replacing.to make a smaller donation of $250 to KHES (Clinic), $250 McRae (Playground) and $500 to KHHS ($250 to the Art department and $250 to the Band.).
Discussion regarding reducing fees to membership is ongoing with multiple ideas being discussed. [Ongoing]
